Intro to Role

Be the gatekeeper of quality. You will ensure bug-free releases by designing and executing comprehensive test plans, automating regression tests, and collaborating with developers to maintain the highest software standards.

What Will You Do

• Write and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Perform thorough manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and regression cycles.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using project management tools like Jira.
• Participate in sprint planning to define test cases and acceptance criteria early in the cycle.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes efficiently.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure application stability under stress.
• Maintain and update the test documentation and knowledge base.

What You Will Bring

• Proven experience in software quality assurance with a strong understanding of QA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases.
• Basic coding skills in JavaScript, Python, or Java for writing test scripts.
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile processes.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate issues clearly to the team.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks.

Good to Have

• Experience with mobile application testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration for automated tests.
• ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
